The purpose of Digital Leaders Now (DLN) is to launch digital initiatives in diverse institutions to grow and prepare the Latinx pipeline in technology for the global marketplace and advocate for equity and diversity in STEM related fields. The vision of DLN is for Latinx to be equitably represented in technology spaces while making a positive impact in society. The mission of DLN is to engage in computer science related initiatives to intentionally include Latinos in STEM pathways following a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) model.
Providing Latinx a platform to inspire, introduce and teach younger Latinos and girls about coding or to simply spark an interest in tech careers, or innovating to make a social impact, or learning a tool to express themselves better and be creative in today’s and tomorrow’s changing environment.
This new wave of Latino innovators, tech workforce and entrepreneurs needs to be added to the already burgeoning young Latinx population to move America forward.
